Estonian Amateur Open 2011
Estonian Amateur Open 2011 starts today on 8.06 !
Estonian VII Amateur Open Championships will take place at Saaremaa Golf course from 9 to 10 June.
76 players from eight different countries will take part in the competition. Players arrive
to the course 7th and 8th of June.
Opening ceremony is held on 8th of June at 18.00 at the Saaremaa Golf course.
Head-referee Björn Ekblom and his team have prepared the golf course. Mr. Ekblom said that
the golf course and the fairways are excellent and he also gives good feedback of the official
Georg Ots Spa hotel.
Volunteer’s chief Gabriel Sepp has instructed 50 volunteers and they are ready with
ballspoters and livescoring.
Drawing of Tee-times and pairings will be 8th of June at 15.00. Tee-times and
scoring will be published in GolfBox on the completion official website www.estamopen.ee
Weather is nice and sunny at Saaremaa and will stay that way for the whole week. We hope
that official sponsor Saku brewery will help to quench the thirst of the players.
